any vintage dress if the price is as pretty as the print

I found this funny little gingham dress this summer and decided I would try it just once before the weather cooled. I am always game to try a vintage dress on if the price is as pretty as the print. It didn’t make my konmari closet cut, but I did want to take it out for a last spin before I relegated it to my consign or donate pile.  And because we are on the cusp of fall (at least in theory if not in practice) I added some denim. Call this look farm chic. One thing that helps you let go of things more easily as you purge with konmari is actually trying things on, being grateful for those things you still use and grateful for the time you’ve had with those you don’t use presently.  I enjoyed my afternoon out in this old fashioned frock and I know sharing it with someone else who will wear it more is the best thing to do. Have you been on a closet cleanout yet, friends?

I don’t always dress as a television character, but when I do I pick someone who worked on a farm in 1955.

This is a cute little gingham dress and looks great with your denim jacket. Seriously cracked me up over the dressing like a television character line!

The details on that vintage dress is super cute and the denim jacket adds a modern twist.
